C: The blog title may be a bit misleading - I like to cook as much as the next Taurean, but I'm no Nigella. Venus in Taurus in my natal chart disposits everything else in there, though, so those things which fall under her rulership feature strongly in my character. Pleasure is the Venus principle - I like to live life through my senses (rather than, for example, try to transcend them) and I can't imagine a better place to do that than in the kitchen of the goddess herself, amongst the heavenly aromas, charming company and luxurious, comfortable decor to be found there. (Of course, with my Virgo moon, you may just find me drinking in the atmosphere from my washing up spot at the sink, silently observing through my Scorpio ascendant, etc. People are complex, after all - we might like and choose to display some parts of ourselves more than others, but none of us can claim to be all one thing.)
